Selling our home #momentwide

We are selling our home of 10 years and embarking on a new adventure. Soon we will be living on on Vancouver Island enjoying the coastal lifestyle. Before that can happen though we need to sell our home. One of the tools that real estate photographers just can’t live without is a wide angle lens. Since the widest lens I have for my Canon is the 24-70 F2.8L I though I would pick up the wide angle lens from Moment. These little wonders are made from Aluminum and high quality optics creating a reasonably sharp and distortion free image. It’s amazing that a Lens mounted on your iPhone can do such a fantastic job. Check out some examples below shot on the iPhone 7 and edited in Lightroom Classic and  Niks Color Efex Pro.

Dreary Weather Photography

Here are the results of being creative when subjects are limited and the weather won't relent. Photography is about keeping going, pushing through the artistic blocks that can often cause us to feel inadequate.. Below is a product photo taken in my basement with very limited gear.. 2 simple speed lights and some tinfoil as reflectors.

Photo Walk with the new Canon EOS M5

I recently received my new Canon EOS M5 Mirrorless camera and wanted to go out and put the image quality to the test. I had purchased a new Fuji Instax for my youngest daughter for Christmas and that was enough to convince her that we should go on a cold winter day photo walk. Below is just a few images from the walk we went on.  Every image was shot using the Canon efm-ef adapter and the 40mm f2.8 pancake lens from Canon.
